Awards / Grants for Student Projects, Tuition and Travel Scholarships
The tuition fee at BITS (like everywhere else in India) is sky-rocketing! Current students pay approx 1.5 Lakh INR per year and this number will probably go up in coming years. Many deserving and meritorious students need our help. Generous donations to this fund not only help in creating tuition scholarships but also helps BITSAA promote student research by funding innovative student projects (many of which have won laurels for BITS and India) and student travel for paper presentations in International conferences. [Click here to see current scholarships and their impact.] The following are supported via this fund:

Awards / Grants for Faculty Research and Travel Scholarships
BITS is dreaming big, as is evident from the announcement of project "Parivartan” by the Chancellor of BITS on November 13, about the growth plan of BITS and the modernization of the Pilani campus. For BITS to continue to grow, it needs a renewed focus on research. BITS has already taken several steps in this regard by increasing the number of higher degree candidates (MS/PhD) and subsidizing their tuition fee (other than giving stipends/scholarships). Few chair professorships have been announced by the Chancellor and a few more have been funded by the alumni. With this vision in mind, this fund will help fund the following activities:
